Located on the National Register of Historic Places, the Chamberlain Building at 1312 Locust is a premium office and restaurant space in a three-story, 31,700 square foot landmark that once housed the Chrysler and Plymouth dealerships on Des Moines’ famous “Auto Row.” The Des Moines Register boasted in May 1916 that the building had “immense pretensions (and) was an exceedingly well-equipped establishment.” Today, the building’s location overlooking the Pappajohn Sculpture Garden in downtown’s Western Gateway Park makes it an ideal place for upscale restaurants and professional firms seeking Class A office space.
